President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, reported to a media outlet that his father’s aggressive cancer has spread.
“It’s really, really hard, and it’s really sad to watch… I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good,” the former first son said in an interview. “The cancer has spread, is metastasized into his bones and further. It’s very painful. It’s very debilitating in many respects.“
The 83-year-old former president’s prostate cancer diagnosis was announced in May 2025, and he underwent a course of radiation therapy and hormone treatment. During the 2024 election, before he ended his campaign for reelection, President Biden experienced a health incident that was attributed to COVID-19 during a trip out West.
